WHAT IS IT: The evangelical Bible teaching of

Manford Geo. Gutzke.

PURPOSE: To share the Gospel of our Lord

and Savior Jesus Christ by presenting:

"Plain Talk About Bible Truth For Everyday Living"

AIM: To tell about Jesus Christ in language that

can be understood.

WHY: All men are lost in themselves and need to

be saved by the Grace of God. God sent His Son

into the world to seek and to save the lost. Christ

Jesus is willing and able to save to the uttermost each

soul that comes to Him. Men would never know this

unless someone tells them. "The Bible For You" tells

the gospel to man.

HOW: The Bible is believed and taught as the Word

of God. Whosoever hears and believes this truth will

be saved. Men are not born with this information and

must be told.

The Bible is clearly, simply taught by RADIO; BOOKS;

BOOKLETS; TAPE RECORDINGS and CASSETTES.

WHO IS MANFORD GEORGE GUTZKE?

Born in Canada, grew to manhood as an agnostic skeptic.

Through Bible study, I came to believe that Jesus is Christ

the Lord, that He died and rose again that whosoever

believeth in Christ would be saved. Now, I want to tell

everyone, "You can be saved!"

I have served as a minister in the Presbyterian church for

more than 35 years, been a pastor for almost 10 years,

a college professor of Bible for 3 years, and a Seminary

professor of Bible for 27 years, now honorably retired.

Now, as the radio Bible teacher for The Bible For You, Inc.,

I conduct Bible conferences, write books and material and

help train young people to witness for Christ, because I believe

Jesus Christ is alive and can save souls.

WHAT DOES MANFORD GEORGE GUTZKE

BELIEVE?

I Believe: The Bible Is The Word Of God: Through it God

promises to save whosoever will come unto Him.

In The Gospel Of Jesus Christ: "God so loved the world

that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth

in Him shall not perish, but have everlasting life." Jesus Christ

rose from the dead and is alive today.

Man Is In Trouble: Pain, suffering, distress and loss are the

common lot of all persons. Man is not strong enough, wise

enough, nor good enough to overcome the trouble he is in.

But there is an answer.

Any Man Can Be Saved: "Whosoever will may come."

Anyone who believes in Jesus Christ will be saved by the

grace of Almighty God.

The Holy Spirit uses Scripture to give faith thus bringing the

soul to God. The Bible can be understood because of the Holy

Spirit.

I Am To Preach The Gospel: Man would never know Christ

unless he were told! God gave me the grace to believe His Word

as set forth in Scripture and now He has given me the commission

to tell the whole world, "whosoever believeth in Him shall never

perish but have eternal life."

I BELIEVE THE BIBLE IS FOR YOU!

IS THIS A PRAYING MINISTRY? Absolutely. Each morning

the staff and I join with our many prayer partners to praise God for

blessings received and to ask for His help for the sick, the lonely,

the shut-ins, the troubled and the lost. It would be our joy to include

you in our A & H Club or Operation Prayer.

WHAT RADIO STATIONS ARE YOU ON? The Bible For You

is heard on an evergrowing international network; in the U.S. and

overseas.We have two programs of Bible study: 15 minutes daily and

30 minutes on Sunday. It is necessary to pay for the air time on all but

a few stations and we praise God that He uses individuals, clubs, classes

and congregations to meet this expense. Please write for details, as the

Lord may be speaking to you about this.

HOW IS THIS MINISTRY SUPPORTED? By the prayers and

gifts of persons such as yourself who care.

Regular Prayer and regular giving help us to avoid special appeals.

We are not related to any denomination or group and I preach no

doctrines that disturb or divide Christians.

ARE MY GIFTS TAX DEDUCTIBLE? Yes! Both the State of

Georgia and the Federal Government recognize The Bible For You, Inc.

as a not-for-profit organization. All gifts to or through this organization

are deductible for income tax purposes, and each contributor receives

a receipt for his gift.

We are laborers together with God (I Corinthians 3:9).

DR. MANFORD GUTZKE

Dr. Manford Geo. Gutzke depends upon Jesus Christ as Lord

and Savior of his life. His great love for people has led him to present

Bible truth in a simple, clear, plain everyday manner: thus the idea,

Plain Talk About the Bible for Everyday Living.

He is well qualified to speak from God's word as he is a graduate

of: The Bible Institute of Los Angeles; M.S., S.M.U.; D.D., Austin

College; Ph.D., Columbia University, New York.

Dr. Gutzke is an ordained minister of the Presbyterian Church, U.S.

and professor emeritus of Columbia Theological Seminary. That the

Lord is blessing his work is seen through the growing number reporting

that faith in Christ has become very real to them.

The Bible For You, Inc. has been established to provide a way to

make his Bible teaching available to you in book, booklet, tape and

radio form. The Bible For You, Inc. is a non-profit organization where

your gifts are tax deductible for income tax purposes.

THE A & H CLUB

United intercession can win victory through prayer.

In Exodus 17:8-13 a great battle is reported. Joshua, leading the

people of God, is fighting with Amalek who is definitely opposed to

God. Here are the forces of good in conflict with that which is evil.

Left to themselves, Amalek, the evil one, can win. When Moses goes

to the top of the mount to pray with hands outstretched to heaven,

Joshua can win.

But Moses became weary, His hands came down as he stopped

praying. It looked as though the courageous Joshua would be defeated.

Then came help!!

Aaron and Hur came to hold up Moses' hands, helping him to pray,

and Joshua won a notable victory.

Joshua the great soldier would have been defeated. Moses the faithful

servant would have been defeated. Neither Aaron nor Hur could fight like

Joshua nor pray like Moses – but they made the difference!! You and

your prayers can make the difference!

Anybody who will pray for his pastor and for me in my Bible ministry

can belong to the A&H Club, a fellowship of persons who will pray for

blessing upon those who are telling the Gospel.

I like to know who is in this supporting fellowship and so I would ask

you to put a P.S. on your next letter: "Put me on your A&H Club" –

That will put you on it and will give me a real lift in my spirit.

OPERATION PRAYER

Some time ago I realized that many of our listeners are persons who

pray and who know that praying is actually a service which a Christian

can do in the Lord. We receive many requests for prayer in our daily mail.

So we set up an arrangement in which we send out some of these requests

for prayer to some of our listeners who will share in praying for these requests.

We call this "Operation – Prayer."

If you would like to join us as a prayer- partner just drop me a line asking

that you be counted as one who would pray for those who ask for prayer.

From time to time you will receive a number of requests, perhaps 5 or 6, from

our office. We will rejoice to have your fellowship in remembering these requests

before the Throne of Grace.

We do not identify the persons making the request, but we briefly describe

the need. God knows who it is and what is needed.

It is a wonderful blessing to be sharing this service in this way. You could join

us and we would be so glad to have your fellowship in this "Operation - Prayer."
